Hosts Cameroon will look to field a familiar starting lineup in tonight’s heavyweight Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against Egypt.
In charge of a nation so strong at home in a competitive sense, Toni Conceicao’s side have a wonderful chance of making it into the AFCON showpiece on their own turf.
While Egypt do offer daunting opposition, they are not without their own problems despite their attacking talent and have looked beatable at times, albeit Cameroon haven’t always convinced themselves amid some rather favourable fixtures.
The star man, of course, has been top scorer Vincent Aboubakar but Karl Toko Ekambi has been equally as impressive and with no known new injuries, it’s hard to see much changing at all in terms of selection for this evening’s crunch semi-final.
Cameroon predicted XI: Onana, Fai, Castelletto, Ngadeu, Tolo, Oum Gouet, Toko Ekambi, Kunde, Zambo Anguissa, Ngamaleu, Aboubakar
Date: Thursday February 3
Venue: Olembe Stadium in Yaounde
