Is this the goal of the 2022 World Cup so far? Because we’ve seen some stunners so far, including the Brazil bicycle kick.
This one is less flashy, but it’s unreal: Cameroon’s Vincent Aboubakar was all alone with the ball, heading toward Serbia’s Vanjia Milinkovic-Savic. A sliding Serbia defender couldn’t do anything, and the goalkeeper was right there in front of Aboubakar.
So the Cameroon player did the only thing he could do there: He softly lofted the ball over the goalkeeper’s head, and it bounced once before going in.
Now: Was Aboubakar offside? Is that why he was so wide open? Turns out, per VAR, he was not!
WHAT A CHIP 🔥
