As Cameron Diaz turns the big Five-O today, August 30, here's a look at her A-list dating history before settled down with Benji Madden in 2015.
Carlos De Le Torre
Before Cameron Diaz landed her breakout role in The Mask opposite Jim Carrey in 1994, she was dating video producer Carlos De Le Torre after meeting him for a photoshoot for LA Gear in 1990.
At the time, Diaz confessed to being infatuated with Torre, telling People she "spent an entire day trying to meet him to talk" to him.
The pair went on to have a pretty long relationship, dating till 1994, when she hit it big in Hollywood.
Matt Dillon
Cameron Diaz and Matt Dillon dated in 1995 and were cast together in the movie There's Something About Mary. However, they broke shortly after filming the comedy.
At the time of their split, Dillon said: "I was dissatisfied with where I was as a man, with my relationships, with my career ... I thought my career was who I was. It wasn't until later that I discovered I was more than that ... Cameron was a muse for me."
Jared Leto
Cameron Diaz dated 30 Seconds To Mars rockstar Jared Leto from 1999 to 2003.
The pair were even rumoured to be engaged at one point, though they eventually called it quits.
After their split, Leto was linked several famous women including Scarlett Johansson, Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus and Angelina Jolie.
Leto has spoken about why he hasn't been able to commit to anyone, saying: "I'm too obsessed with my own creative ambitions and my own goals."
Justin Timberlake
Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake had a very public romance. Diaz began dating the NSYNC musician in 2003 after meeting at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
The pair seemed to always be together, with Diaz even joining Timberlake on tour at one point.
However, the stars split in 2007, putting out a statement saying: "We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship, and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another."
They worked together even after their relationship came to end, doing two movies – Shrek 3 and Bad Teacher – together.
Criss Angel
Cameron Diaz was spotted hanging out with magician and illusionist Criss Angel several times in Las Vegas in 2007.
Though Angel denied rumours of a romance, he did give Diaz a shout-out during one of his shows, saying: "I'd like to dedicate this to my girl Trouble, aka Cameron. I love you, baby."
While the pair denied their relationship, Angel was sued by his estranged wife who claimed he had an affair with Diaz.
Sean "Diddy" Combs
Cameron Diaz and rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs reportedly had a romantic relationship from 2008 to 2012. Combs has previously admitted that Diaz was "the one that got away".
During a night out, when the subject of Diaz dating Benji Madden arose, Combs is thought to have revealed: "If I could turn back time, things would be different."
P Diddy was also heard saying, "She's the sexiest girl in the world."
Kelly Slater
In 2007, it was speculated that Cameron Diaz was dating pro-surfer Kelly Slater, after the actress was spotted surfing with Slater in Hawaii.
Despite being seen together several times surfing, playing golf and having dinner together, Slater told People that they were "just friends".
Paul Sculfor
Cameron Diaz and British model Paul Sculfor had a short-lived romance between 2008 and 2009.
There were several snaps of the pair cuddling and kissing each other.
However, it was reported that Sculfor dumped Diaz after she refused to move to the UK. A friend said at the time: "Paul and Cam were really into each other and even marriage wasn't out of the question. But Paul wasn't getting much modelling work in the States."
Alex Rodriguez
Cameron Diaz and former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez had a brief but high-profile romance between 2010-2011.
Rodriguez spoke highly of Diaz after their breakup, saying: "I don't like talking about my relationships, but I will tell you about CD. She's probably one of the greatest human beings I've ever met, and just an amazing light."
Benji Madden
Cameron Diaz found lasting love with rockstar Benji Madden in 2014. Though they knew each other, the pair formally met at a dinner party hosted by Diaz.
The pair married the following year and have a daughter named Raddix, born in 2020. The Good Charlotte guitar even has his wife's name tattooed on his chest.
