Camden Town Brewery has launched Chilly, a Cold IPA. The ‘COLD’ in the IPA is a new hybrid brewing style.
Originally launched as an Arch55 small batch innovation beers, the cool brew proved to be popular amongst Camden fans. Cold IPA is brewed with OG lager yeast but at a warmer temperature, with flaked rice, wheat and new world hops.
The Chilly can has been designed by seasonal illustrator Martyna Makes.
Fred Nesbitt, Head of Marketing at Camden Town Brewery said: “Our brewers were ahead of the game when they brewed a Cold IPA last year, giving the UK our fresh take on a style of beer that has been a hit across the pond. Originally launched as a limited-edition brew, it quickly became a main player in our Arch 55 series and is now being released nationwide. Chilly is a hybrid style beer, bursting full of new world hop flavor but with a light and crisp body – grab it whilst you can, because we can’t promise Chilly will be here for long.”
Chilly is available now in single units at Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and the Camden web shop for £18 per 6-pack.
