An 18-year-old man has been arrested after an attack in Leeds city centre overnight.
West Yorkshire Police (WYP) taped off part of Call Lane near the Corn Exchange this morning following the attack. which happened in the early hours of Saturday. The assault is understood to have happened at around 1.25am and a man in his 20s was rushed to hospital.
The victim's injuries are not thought to be serious. A spokesperson for WYP said: "Detectives are investigating following an assault on Call Lane, Leeds, which is reported to have occurred at around 1.25am this morning (Saturday, 20 August).

"A man in his 20s received hospital treatment for non-serious injuries. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody." The police cordon has now been lifted, but officers are still appealing for information.
