If you’re a baller, you always stay fly. If you’re a baller and Catilin Clark, that means getting the “freshest khakis” NIL money can buy.
In case you didn’t know, Clark is a certified bucket. The 6-foot Iowa Hawkeyes Basketball point guard’s stock skyrocketed last season, breaking records and forever etching her name into the history books.
Off the court, she’s still doing things that have never been done. According to Josh Helmer of Hawkeyes Wire, Clark is teaming up with State Farm, becoming the first college and female athlete to sign an NIL deal with the insurance company.
After announcing the partnership on social media, the basketball star couldn’t help but ask company spokesperson “Jake” for a favor.
Honored to be the first college athlete joining team @StateFarm ! 🥳 So, where do I get the freshest khakis @JakeStateFarm ? #ad pic.twitter.com/nTrhjlLBle

“So, where do I get the freshest khakis?” Clark said.
“Jake,” whose real name is Kevin Miles, rocks a pair of signature khakis in nearly every company promotion. Miles quickly responded to Clark’s request and was happy to play along.
Khakis?? Say less. 😎

However, it turns out that Clark already received her khakis. A company executive, Kristyn Cook, recently presented Clark with a pair.

Clark’s new deal is awesome for women’s sports. Truthfully, she needs a Chris Paul, Travis Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes collaboration, or we riot.
