Part of a busy Lanarkshire road is to be closed for resurfacing for five days next week.
One side of Airbles Road in Motherwell will shut to traffic from the early hours of Monday, July 3 until late in the evening of Friday, July 7.
It will be closed on the westbound carriageway only, between Leven Street and Chestnut Grove.
North Lanarkshire Council’s closure notice says drivers will be diverted around Motherwell town centre, using Windmillhill Street, West Hamilton Street and Hamilton Road.
Signs are already in place on the affected side of the B754 advise motorists to “expect delays” while the five-day project is carried out.
