Edinburgh's Oz Bar is finally set to reopen more than a year after a huge fire tore through the building on Candlemaker Row.
The popular Aussie-style bar near Greyfriars Kirkyard was forced to close its doors for the last 15 months after a raging inferno tore through several buildings on George IV Bridge on August 24, 2021.

The Oz Bar are already looking for staff ahead of the grand opening at the end of November and Edinburgh locals can apply for the full-time and part-time positions available that pay £10 an hour.
The boozer shared the exciting news on Facebook with the owner writing: "Oz Bar re-opening soon. We have a couple of staff positions we need to fill.
"Anyone interested? Hoping to open end of Nov. Pls send CVs to theozbaredinburgh@gmail.com"
Fans of the pub were ecstatic with the news and many shared their excitement on the post.
Olivia Costa Dias said: "Yay! So glad you are reopening! Some of the best fun I ever had working there!"
Alison Mackay excited: "My fav bar in Edinburgh along with a couple of others. So pleased you will be open soon."
Jani Ward: "Beauty! I'm visiting Edinburgh for the first time in December so was hoping you might re-open by then."
The bar was badly damaged inside from the fire which was the reason it had to close for so long. Construction workers have been working on the interior and structure of the pub for months to prepare for its reopening.
While renovating the property builders on site found a secret tunnel that the owner previously did not know existed.
The building works revealed the once busy entrance and passageway to Brown Square, a now demolished site that was a thriving hub in the 1700s.
Workers on site also discovered the old stonework arches, old maps and paperwork has shown that the arches were a route into the square and would have also housed an ironmongers.
The huge blaze started in the Patisserie Valerie cafe on George IV Bridge above the bar and spread to a number of properties.
Despite being in the basement of the building and facing the other direction, staff from Oz Bar shared the sad news that the bar would not be able to reopen for some time.

Sharing in August last year, they wrote: "Things are not looking great. The damage to the building is pretty substantial and it would seem there’s a real possibility the pub won’t re-open until 2022.
"It’s been a real sh***y couple of years and things were looking good but all good things come to an end, at least temporarily.
"Just want to give a maassive thanks to our friends from over the last 24 years who have made this place what it is today. Without you, it wouldn’t be the same. Rest assured we will be back stronger than ever."
