Busted tour 2023: Band adds second Newcastle date after phenomenal demand

Busted has added a second Newcastle date to their tour schedule following incredible demand for tickets.

Fans have been scrambling to get their hands on tickets for the 20th-anniversary tour since pre-sales began on Wednesday.

Many fans reached roadblocks along the way with tickets being snapped up incredibly quickly. The band then announced that the tour had sold out, just hours after going on general sale on Friday.

Following the demand, an extra six dates had been added in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham and Cardiff. Hours later, the boys added a second Newcastle date, too, here’s everything you need to know.

When is the second Busted Newcastle date?

Busted will play a second date at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on September 13. They will be back in the city just three days later on September 16.

For a fun fact among fans, James Bourne will have an extra reason to celebrate as the earlier date, September 13, is also his birthday. We're sure it'll be a party to remember.

When do tickets for the second Busted date in Newcastle go on sale?

Tickets are available from Ticketmaster now and there are plenty of seats up for grabs.

How much are tickets for Busted in Newcastle?

Tickets range from £42.50 to £87.50. The full rundown of ticket prices are:

  • Ultimate Tickets (Referred to as the best seats) - £87.50
  • “Wow Pit” Standing tickets - £80.75
  • Premium reserved seating - £65
  • Reserved seating tier A - £53.75
  • Reserved seating tier B - £42.50

There will be added service and booking fees to be added on top, so budget a little extra for tickets if you are hoping to snap them up.

Released by the Utilita Arena and Ticketmaster, it looks as if there will be plenty of seating for fans. However, those who prefer to dance around needn’t panic as there’s also a standing area right in front of the stage.
