Popular noughties band Busted have seemingly teased a massive 20th anniversary comeback, sending fans wild. Members Charlie Simpson, James Bourne and Matt Willis skyrocketed to fame in 2002, following the release of their chart-topping hits, including Year 3000 and What I Go to School For.
After three years, two albums and ten singles, Busted announced in 2005 that they'd be parting ways, leaving fans devastated. Ten years after splitting, the band reformed in 2015, before disappearing again four years later, The Daily Star reports.
Following fans' double heartbreak, it seems that the trio could be reuniting again, following a cryptic post on their Instagram. The pop punk band posted a short video of someone loading an early 2000s relic - a video tape - into a bulky Phillips TV.

Busted's beloved red logo then appeared on the screen, which cut to black shortly after. The post was captioned: "23/03/23 #Busted20", appearing to hint something could be happening on Thursday to commemorate two decades of the band.
Moments after the band's cryptic post, fans flooded the comments with excitement, with some speculating what could be happening later this week. "Well this has cheered me up," Jo wrote.
"Hoping it's at the very least a tour and a couple new songs," James commented. "But, of course we're all greedy and hope it's an album and a tour.
Kevin wrote: "Vhs tape. Old school logo. Re recording of the first album??? 20 year anniversary edition??? I'm intrigued."
"if this happens we have to go," Ashleigh said, tagging a friend as she suggested it could be a tour.
In a recent interview with the Daily Star, Masked Singer winner Charlie said that he and his fellow bandmates had huge plans for their 20 year anniversary. He told the publication: "We are talking about doing some Busted stuff. There are some big plans, that conversation is ongoing - it's our 20th anniversary this year."
After releasing their debut album in 2002, it climbed to the dizzy heights of number two in the charts in January 2003, with the band growing in success for some time after. Their first release included some of their most popular hits that many still listen to years later, including What I Go To School For and You Said No, with their second record bringing us Air Hostess and Crashed The Wedding.
