Chelsea star Conor Gallagher continues to be linked with a move away from the club heading towards the summer transfer window. The Cobham academy graduate has played sporadic minutes for the first team since breaking in after a successful loan spell with Crystal Palace.
His energy and work rate have seen the midfielder regularly earn a place in Gareth Southgate's England squads, even if he isn't gaining very regular starts. Despite the struggles of the season, the youngster has already given a rallying cry to his teammates over playing out the remainder of the campaign.
He told the Chelsea official website: "The quality of the squad we have, we should be winning a lot more than we are. We have to keep working hard and looking where we can improve, and hopefully it can improve and we can start winning games where we should be.”

It remains to be seen whether Gallagher will be wearing a Chelsea shirt going into the next season though, with exits expected from the squad in the summer. There are plenty of clubs eyeing a potential switch and football.london understands that rivals Liverpool are interested in landing the 23-year-old alongside fellow Cobham academy graduate Mason Mount.
The Reds aren't the only side though as Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are monitoring a potential move. There are no concrete discussions at this stage, but the reporter adds that the midfielder's future is open.
The Blues are also claimed to have a €50million (£44million) valuation set on Gallagher if he were to make a move in the summer window. It remains to be seen whether that will be a price at which teams will make a move or if a stay appears the more likely option.
