The bus carrying the Bulgarian national football team was involved in a “serious traffic accident” on Saturday ahead of their Nations League clash against Georgia in Tblisi.
Bulgaria midfielder Todor Nedelev had to be taken to a local hospital where he was diagnosed with a craniocerebral trauma and had to undergo surgery.
Nedelev will now be supervised closely by the medical staff, while the rest of the players are said to have not suffered any injuries.
