Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is enjoying one of his best seasons at the Emirates Stadium after registering 23 goal contributions in 38 games this term. The Hale End star has been pivotal in helping the Gunners challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Mikel Arteta has helped develop Saka into a world-class winger and now Arsenal are just 10 games away from their first Premier League title in nearly 20 years. The 21-year-old has proven he is capable of performing at the highest level following an exceptional display for England at the World Cup - scoring three goals during the tournament in Qatar.
Saka is said to be close to signing a new £300,000-per-week contract with the north Londoners. This comes after the England international extended his current deal by a further 12 months until 2024, as football.london reported earlier this year.

football.london reported last month that the 21-year-old had informed Arsenal of his desire to stay put thus handing Manchester City and Liverpool - two clubs that have been heavily linked with a move for the winger - a major blow heading into the summer transfer window. With Saka looking set to stay at Arsenal for the foreseeable future, former Gunners William Gallas believes that the Hale End star could challenge for the Ballon d'Or award later this year.
"With the season that he is having now, I think he is maybe one of the best young players in the world," the ex-Arsenal defender told Genting Casino. "You've got players that are a similar age who are also doing great things.
"[Erling] Haaland is 22. I put him on the roof (laughs). I think you can put Saka just behind him. There are not too many players that are his age that are having a magnificent season.
"It’s good (Saka’s development). Every season he improves and takes his game to another level. I hope he is going to be one of the players that will challenge for the Ballon d’Or in the future because he has the quality for it."
Gallas went on to claim that he expects the Arsenal star to be netting at least 20 goals a season. There's every chance Saka comes close to that amount this term, having scored 12 goals this season with 10 games still to play as the Gunners aim to end their 19-year wait for a league title.
