Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish troll each other on Instagram amid England's World Cup win vs Iran

England duo Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish jokingly trolled each other on Instagram after England's 6-2 World Cup win over Iran on Monday. The pair scored three goals between them as Gareth Southgate's side cruised to an opening game win in Doha.

Goals from Jude Bellingham, Saka and Raheem Sterling gave the Three Lions a healthy 3-0 lead going into half-time. Saka then scored for a second time shortly after the restart, but Iran pegged one back through Mehdi Tehrami just a few minutes later.

Marcus Rashford made it 5-1 after coming on from the bench before Newcastle United forward Callum Wilson then later squared the ball to Grealish to add a sixth prior to 90 minutes.

The action wasn't finished there, though, as Iran were awarded a dubious VAR penalty in added time. Tehrami made no mistake from the spot as he slotted home his second of the game.

Plenty of England players impressed on the day, but Saka's brace meant that he became the youngest ever Englishman to score two or more goals in a game at a World Cup. Meanwhile, Grealish also performed well after being subbed onto the pitch. The 27-year-old even had time to dedicate his goal to a young Manchester City fan named Finlay after he promised he would do so earlier this year.

The two stars get on extremely well off the pitch, too, something that was highlighted on Instagram post-match. After jokingly editing out Saka's hair from a post on his Instagram story, Grealish said: "Great day for the boy @BUKAYOSAKA87." The message was accompanied with three emoji's, including a heart.

Saka then trolled Grealish in return. By using an edit that appears to make Grealish look sad, Saka said: "Cheer up bro you scored @jackgrealish."

Whilst the lighthearted banter is sure to go down well with England fans, it also shows just how well the squad bonds under Southgate's leadership. Supporters will now be hoping for more of the same on the pitch, with USA their next Group B opponents on Friday.
