A builder who has spent years on construction sites has won a stunning £3million townhouse in a raffle.
Kevin Johnson, 34, has scooped the incredible home in London - just down the road from where he lives in a rented property.
The London-based construction site manager of ten years won the stunning four-bed Victorian-style town house in Islington after spending £50 on a ticket.
The dad says he was so shocked that his "knees almost gave way" after being told he had won the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw.
Alongside the mortgage free, stamp duty free property - he also won £100,000 in cash to help him move in with his wife of 12 years Dee, 44, and their four sons.
Kevin, who has lived in a rented thee-bed flat in east London since 2011 says it had long been the couple's dream to buy a home of their own.
He started out as a carpenter and his wife has worked in childcare and education for the past 24 years.
Kevin said: "We're still pinching ourselves, whatever we decide to do long term, this is going to give us so much security as a family, it's truly life changing for all of us.
"We've always wanted to own our own house one day, so this really is a dream come true for us - we'll be moving in as soon as we can.
"When Omaze first called me, I recognised the lady's voice from the TV adverts, so thought it must be genuine - but I didn't for one second think we'd won the actual house!
"When the team arrived at my doorstep to tell me the good news - I was so shocked my knees almost gave way!
"My wife was on her way home from work so I video called her straight away - she didn't believe me at first, but when she saw the camera crew the penny finally dropped.
"She screamed and turned her phone around to tell the packed train that we'd just won the Omaze house - all the other commuters started clapping - it was crazy.
"I won't need to use any of my carpentry skills on the house as it's absolutely perfect - the kids are going to love it."
Spread over three floors and filled with natural light all day, the house boasts four bedrooms, three-meter-high ceilings, a walk in wardrobe, a courtyard rear garden and superb views overlooking the neighbouring park and local cricket pitch.
The master bedroom - spread out over much of the second floor - also features an open en-suite bathroom with a freestanding Corian bath, double basins and an oversized marble enclosed shower in one corner
There is also space for parking for three cars, along with a purpose-built garden studio and a fully fitted modern kitchen - giving the classical home a modern feel.
Just minutes from the excitement of central London, the house is also well connected to Finsbury Park train station just a short walk away.
The couple now have the option of moving in or renting out the property - which estate agents estimate could draw in an income of between £6,000 - £7,000 a month.
The lottery also raised an amazing £2mn in donations for the British Heart Foundation's research into heart and circulatory diseases - Omaze's largest donation to date.
Dee's late grandmother had suffered from heart complications in later life - making the win particularly rewarding.
