Popular South Korean boy band BTS on Tuesday announced that they will be going on an extended break and will now be focusing on their solo careers. BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook said that they were going into an indefinite "hiatus". However, their agency HYBE issued a statement clarifying that the Bangtan Boys are not going on a hiatus, but will be committed to solo projects.
The K-Pop stars made the revelation during their annual Festa dinner, which celebrated their anniversary as a group. The live stream started on a jolly note, where the group members joked, drank and reminisced about their journey.
