Do you remember playing wiffleball with your friends back when you were a kid and you’d swing and miss on strike three and then argue forever with your buddies that you foul tipped it and should still be up even though you know you didn’t come close to hitting the ball?
No? Only me?
Well, now I guess it’s only me and Phillies star Bryce Harper, who basically did that same exact thing in a Major League Baseball game Wednesday night in Philadelphia.
Harper clearly swung and missed at strike three in the bottom of the first inning but tried really hard to convince the umps that he foul-tipped the ball.
You need to watch this and check out the replay to see how much he missed it by…
Bryce Harper arguing that he fouled off this Gausman Splitter.
"Can I get some help?"
I'll help Bryce: You didn't. 😂 pic.twitter.com/UZTVhezcCK

Nice try, Bryce, but that wasn’t even close!

In real time I can see the argument. But, oh my goodness, that second angle in slo-mo made it seem ridiculous 😂 https://t.co/EGBWAEMsbv

If I was the *JAYS* manager, I'd challenge the strike call, just so that I could get that video played on the jumbotron for everyone at Citizen's Bank Park to see it in slow motion. https://t.co/bRZuxQmYuX
