Bryan Kohberger, the former criminology Ph.D. student accused of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022, is now set to go to trial on August 11, 2025, which is a later date than originally planned.
In June, Judge John Judge had initially ordered the trial to commence on June 2, 2025, after both the defense and prosecution had agreed to a trial date for the following summer.
However, a new order issued on Wednesday has rescheduled the trial to take place from August 11 to November 7, 2025.
Furthermore, a hearing is still scheduled for November 7, 2024, to address arguments on motions challenging the death penalty.
