There could be unexpected consequences on Thomas Tuchel after the German was sacked by Chelsea two weeks ago.
Tuchel, who was swiftly dismissed by Todd Boehly and the new co-owners following a relationship breakdown over the summer, finds himself out of a job for just the sixth week in over fours years after he was quickly appointed as Blues boss in January 2021 having been fired from Paris Saint-Germain in late December 2020.
With rumours over a new job still circling Tuchel he will be forced to make an important decision quickly, with the Telegraph reporting that he may have less than 90-days on post-Brexit Governing Body Endorsement visa.

The new post-Brexit rules could effect Tuchel, who was one of the first foreign managers to be appointed with it in place, as he decides where to be based until he finds a new job, but the FA nor the Home Office have confirmed this, Matt Law writes. His backroom staff were also subject to special applications from Chelsea at the time to get them over to the country.
With both Juventus and Bayern Munich struggling early on in the season Tuchel has been linked with another new job already. The German is currently still living in Surrey though and his children attend school there too which could impact a choice as to what he does next.
He is believed, the report states, to think there is unfinished business in England, but with none of the top jobs under-pressure at this moment and the 90 days having already started, a decision may have to be made quickly. football.london understands that the 49-year-old is keen to start working again without a planned break, after leaving both Mainz and Borussia Dortmund he took a year out.
With his next destination, or when a new job may come up unknown though, it creates an issue for Tuchel with the possible pressure of the visa running down. A representative for Tuchel is quoted as saying, "We will act in accordance with UK rules and adapt all future plans. Final decisions are not made yet.”
