Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes has signed a new long-term deal with the club.
The Portuguese midfielder has been a star performer since he was signed from Sporting Lisbon under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a lengthy transfer pursuit back in January 2020. He helped lead the club back into the Premier League top four last season with 28 goals in 58 games across all competitions.
This season has proved more of a struggle with the sacking of Solskjaer and appointment of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager whilst the club search for a permanent successor. But, despite uncertainty in the dugout, club bosses have shown their faith in Fernandes by rewarding him with a new deal which places him amongst their highest earners.
