Bruno Fernandes has penned an emotional farewell message to Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard it was announced the pair will be leaving Manchester United when their contract expires at the end of this month.
Following months of speculation about Pogba's future, United on Wednesday announced that he will be leaving Old Trafford when his current deal expires on June 30. It will bring his six-year spell with the club to an end, with a return to Juventus being touted as his next move.
Pogba rejoined the club in a record-breaking £89million deal in August 2016 and won two trophies in his first season back in M16, helping Jose Mourinho's side lift both the League Cup and Europa League. However, that was as good as it got for the 29-year-old, with his performances frequently struggling to live up to expectations.

Just as he did in 2012, Pogba will leave United on a free transfer, meaning the Reds have experienced a huge financial loss on their investment. But although his second stint at Old Trafford did not live up to be as dazzling as it ought to have been, it did feature flashpoints that will be remembered.
And for fellow midfielder Fernandes, who linked up with Pogba at Old Trafford in January 2020, it was a "pleasure" to have played with him.
"It was a pleasure to play alongside you for this period," Fernandes wrote on Instagram. "Nothing but the best for your future, @paulpogba."
Fernandes also shared a post about Lingard, to whom he said: "I enjoyed having you as a teammate. Keep the good energy and never change that. Go and enjoy yourself always @jesselingard."
