Browns’ David Njoku Arrives for Week 4 in Full Mask, Will Play After Suffering Facial Burns

Browns tight end David Njoku will suit up for the team in Week 4 against the Ravens after he suffered facial burns on Saturday, per CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson. The details of the incident were provided in an official team announcement. There are still numerous questions surrounding what happened, although the team described it as a “household incident” that led to burns on his face and arm.

Njoku arrived for the team’s matchup with the Ravens, but did so while wearing a full mask, as Cleveland.com’s Hayden Grove detailed. The scene adds to looming questions about the severity of the injuries, but he will indeed be on the field against Baltimore.
