Draft season is in full effect and the Cleveland Browns are looking for any avenue to get better. After making more coaching changes on Tuesday they had scouts at the HBCU combine scouting small college players before the NFL combine next week. Of those prospects at least one of them caught their attention enough to meet with him. Lane College’s edge rusher Andrew Farmer tested well today showing off his athleticism.
Farmer ran a 4.72 40-yard dash at 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds with a 38-inch vertical jump. It’ll be interesting to see if he makes a draft class, signs as a UDFA, or plays in the USFL. The Browns are turning over every stone to get better.
