According to a GQ poll, Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was named the NFL’s most stylish player of the year. Owusu-Koramoah has generated a lot of buzz this season around his African-inspired wardrobe. He looks to be America’s Next Top Middle Linebacker.
Owusu-Koramoah was titled the best-dressed in the NFL by Andscape earlier this year. Owusu-Koramoah does a great job of exhibiting the diverse fashion styles found in Africa.
His style changed radically from week to week as he experimented with colors, patterns, and silhouettes. Some weeks, he showed sleek suits with minimal color. The following week, he’d display a patterned gown with a crown to match it.
The styles he exhibits could soon be found on the streets. Owusu-Koramoah plans to launch a fashion line named Abravo once he finds manufacturers.
The rest of the Browns were well-represented in GQ’s bracket. Grant Delpit, Greg Newsome II, Marquise Goodwin, and Denzel Ward were included in the tournament. Ward lost to Owusu-Koramoah in the Finals. Next season, the players will have much to prove on and off the field.
