Browns DE Ogbo Okoronkwo returns to Ravens game after knee injury

Cleveland Browns defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo left the Baltimore Ravens game with a knee injury. Okoronkwo went to the medical tent before jogging to the locker room during the second quarter. He is questionable to return to the game.

Okoronkwo has played fantastic against the Ravens. The defensive end wrestled Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson to the ground for a sack. It was the first sack left tackle Ronnie Staley gave up all year. The play helped kill a Ravens drive.

Browns have used Okoronkwo as a pass rush specialist, but he’s good defending the run. The Browns need Okoronkwo and his speed to counteract the Ravens offense. The Ravens can use Derrick Henry or Lamar Jackson to bludgeon defenses in the run game. The Browns will rely on former draft picks Isaiah McGuire to serve as the primary backup.

The Browns are battling the Ravens heading into halftime. The game is tied three to three. The Browns defense has suffocated an explosive Ravens’ offense. Okoronkwo has returned to the game.
