A business owner in Broughty Ferry has been left ‘heartbroken’ after their shop was targeted in an early morning raid.
Police are hunting the thieves after the Nappy Pin baby equipment and toy shop in Gray Street was broken into this week.
The incident happened at about 12.50am on Wednesday.
Officers are looking at CCTV footage from the premises and local area.
Posting on Facebook, the Nappy Pin owner wrote: “Last night our shop in Broughty Ferry was broken into, as you can imagine we are absolutely heartbroken.
“But the police have footage and fingerprints and are confident that they will be able to find the individuals who did this.
“In the meantime if anyone has any information or saw anything suspicious in Broughty Ferry around 1am please let us know.
“Thank you so much for you support now and always. Love The NappyPin team xx”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are carrying out enquiries after a shop premises in Gray Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee was broken into at around 12.50am on Wednesday, 19 January, 2022.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0010 of 19 January, 2022.”
