Brooklyn Beckham took some flack online as he paid tribute to the ladies in his life on International Women's Day.
The aspiring chef, 24, shared a collection of snaps on social media of wife Nicola Peltz, 28, mum Victoria Beckham, sister Harper Beckham, other female family members and pal Selena Gomez on Wednesday, but it was his choice of caption that angered some fans.
Brooklyn - who tied the knot with Bates Motel star Nicola in April last year - didn't miss a chance to gush about his life partner as he shared a lengthy message on Instagram dedicated to his wife of almost one year.
"Happy international woman’s day to all the gorgeous woman out there. Your [sic] far batter [sic] than any man can ever be," Victoria and David Beckham's eldest child began when writing to his 15million followers.
He went on to add: "Nicola thank you for always being there right by my side and for being the best wife and best friend x couldn’t live without you x I am so excited to stay young with you and have the most amazing life with you x here’s to many more baby days honouring you."
While many loved Brooklyn's IWD tribute - particular fans of singer Selena - some took issue with the former aspiring photographer's decision not to mention his mum in the sweet caption.
The second of Brooklyn's seven images included in the tribute shows his fashion icon mum posing with his little sister Harper.
"You should have have least Thank your mom first. A partner, wife / husband may come & go. But a mother will always be there for you no matter what. Appreciate your mother first," one Instagram user fumed in the comment section.
"Didn't mention his first love, his mom....hmmm," another added, as a third raged: "So nothing on your MOTHER? No words for your mom? Just a simple pic? Even she got more pics than the woman who BIRTHED YOU."
The outrage comes as the Beckham family seemingly appeared to quash rumours of a feud, as Nicola and Brooklyn were all smiles as they supported Victoria during her Paris Fashion Week campaign earlier this month.

As Selena hits the headlines thanks to a rumoured feud with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber's wife Hailey, fans of the Only Murders in the Building actress thanked Brooklyn for seemingly showing his support for his wife Nicola's BFF.
The last image included on Brooklyn's IWD tribute on Instagram show's Selena and Nicola hugging and laughing while wearing matching dresses - with Selena tagged in the post.
"We love brooklyn being TEAM SELENA," one happy fan declared in the comment section on Wednesday.
Another added: "It's the last slide for me. Tk you for reading the room Mr Peltz-Beckham. We appreciate you."
