Brooklyn Beckham has caused a stir after sharing a video making Scouse.
The son of David and Victoria Beckham said he discovered cooking in lockdown and has since gone on to share his recipes with daytime TV hosts and his Facebook show 'Cookin with Brooklyn'.
But Brooklyn's latest endeavour has ruffled a few feathers as he attempted to make Scouse. There is no definitive recipe for Scouse, because it was traditionally made from leftovers and whatever was in season at the time.

However, Scouse usually contains carrots, potatoes, onions, chunks of beef or lamb and swede - but Brooklyn's recipe has led a heated debate.
The 23-year-old, who is a budding cook, shared a video of his latest recipe, which consisted of some conventional elements including carrots and potatoes. He captioned the video: "Scouse soup x one of my favourite dishes."
The clip showed him dicing a fresh cut of beef and seasoning with salt and pepper. He then browned the meat in a pan, before adding chopped vegetables and a carton of stock.
But his decision to include diced beef and white cabbage in his recipe, and not onions, caused quite an upset. Nicola Rochford commented: "Scouse is not a soup. That what you have cooked is English hot pot/stew."
Kym Lawson said: "Scouse is stewing beef and no cabbage." Mel Davis added: "It’s scouse broth it’s not a soup, we’ve never ever called it scouse soup, either just scouse or scouse broth some people even call it scouse stew."
And Meatball Molly added: "Got a few scouse secret tips if you ever need them. Let me know."
Acknowledging the comments, Brooklyn responded to some and addressed the exclusion of onions. He said: "No onions because my wife isn’t a fan."
This prompted some of his followers to defend him. One said: "Honestly heartbroken about all the negative comments made about your cooking journey. True people with no hatred in their heart want you to know that this is awesome and we’re thankful for you sharing this journey."
And a second said: "Bloody hell the amount of negative comments of here is pathetic. Least he cooks, it's his way so leave him be. We all have different ways or versions of a dish and that's his."
