Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have laughed over claims his famous parents’ nuptials inspired their own lavish wedding.
David and Victoria Beckham tied the knot at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland back in 1999.
The couple – better known then as Posh and Becks – wore matching white and purple outfits.
Cementing their status as Nineties royalty, Victoria donned a crown and the pair sat on thrones in pictures which were sold to OK! magazine for a reported £1 million.
But despite being one of the most iconic weddings of the time, Nicola revealed her and Brooklyn took inspiration from a different celebrity couple.

In a post-wedding interview with Vogue, the US actress and heiress said: “Their [David and Victoria’s] wedding was incredible and those pictures are iconic.
“But the wedding we were most inspired by was Iman and David Bowie’s.”
The late music legend and his supermodel wife were married in 1992 in an intimate ceremony in Florence in Italy.
It seems Nicola took inspiration from Iman’s dress, wearing a similar style and arm length white gloves for her big day.
While Brooklyn’s choice of wedding outfit seemed to channel rock star David as both wore black Dior suits.
David and Iman even posed on a beach in black and white photos for Vogue, just like Nicola and Brooklyn.
Bates Motel actress Nicola shared she also took inspiration from another supermodel for her wedding look.
Her hair and make-up were meant to echo that of Nineties catwalk queen Claudia Schiffer.
Spilling the beans on their £3 million Palm Beach wedding, the couple revealed the secrets of their special day.
Budding chef Brooklyn, 23, said he “couldn’t catch my breath” when he saw bride Nicola, 27, in her wedding dress.
He said: “The highlight of the whole wedding for me was seeing her for the first time in that dress.
“It was the first time ever in my life when I felt like I couldn’t catch my breath.”
There were also a few comical moments from the day – like when the rabbi kept calling Brooklyn by his father’s name.
And a reality TV star – who has not been named – accidentally fell into a water feature down the aisle and ended up with water “up to his knees”.
Instead of posh grub, the couple treated their guests to £3 burgers from a Wendy’s food truck.
Brooklyn said the burgers were his idea – and Nicola revealed: “We didn’t eat at all until we got to the Wendy’s truck – and then I had three burgers.”
While Nicola's Valentino dress , which took a year to make, had a hidden evil eye with embroidered into it to protect her on her big day.
