The Denver Broncos wrapped up mandatory minicamp on Wednesday with eight players sidelined.
Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot) did not practice on Tuesday or Wednesday, the final two days of spring sessions. Dulcich was sidelined for all of organized team activities and minicamp this spring. Fellow tight end Dylan Leonard (unknown) was also sidelined.
Meanwhile, tight end Adam Trautman (core muscle) was also held out. Denver coach Sean Payton said it’s not a significant injury.
“Just being smart with his reps,” Payton said. “He had core muscle symptoms, which is basically a sprain. He didn’t need surgery, so that’s the good news. Nothing significant though.”
Elsewhere on the injury front, safeties Delarrin Turner-Yell (unknown) and Caden Sterns (unknown) sat out Wednesday. Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (unknown) also did not practice and wide receiver Courtland Sutton did not have a full workload. Fellow receiver Josh Reynolds (unknown) had an excused absence.
“Yeah, we just backed off today,” Payton said of Reynolds. “He had a good day yesterday and there was something that we just said, ‘Let’s just hold off.’ He’ll be fine.”
Broncos running back Audric Estime (knee) was held out at minicamp but he is expected to return in time for training camp.
Update: Dylan Leonard has been waived with an injury settlement.
