A vegetable chip sold to US buyers on Amazon has been recalled because it may contain undeclared gluten, a problem that affects people with celiac disease who cannot detect the ingredient themselves.
Exotique Foods Inc. of Ontario, Canada, is recalling Momchipz Veggie Chips Broccoli Florets and Cauliflower. The FDA published the notice Wednesday, five days after the company announcement. The product reached 49 US customers via Amazon.com between March and June of this year.
