Britney Spears ' upcoming tell-all autobiography has reportedly been delayed because of legal concerns.
Last year it was claimed that the singer would release a memoir after securing a "record breaking" $15million (£12million) publishing deal.
It was originally believed that the book would be released in January 2023, but due to a slew of set backs, the book is still yet to be released - and now even more set backs follow.
Just recently PageSix reported that the book was complete and would soon "shake the world" - but now it seems as though this is not the case at all.
The 41-year-old hitmaker's book is said to make claims that she had "flings with two massive Hollywood stars".
Sparking legal concerns amid the bombshell claims, lawyers for the people who are said to be worried about the starlet's memoir, have sent letters to the book's publisher - which has in-turn halted production.
With publishing company Simon & Schuster receiving concerned letters from lawyers, the publisher is now said to be consulting with its own legal team.
Due to the sudden influx of legal action, Britney's book has had to be put on hold, with the tell-all memoir now expected to be available at the end of the year.
The Sun has reported that a source spilled about how "brutally honest" Britney is in the book, which has cause "a lot" of A-listers to become "nervous".
"Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written," the source continued to the paper.
They added that there is "no movement" at the moment, with concerns over when it will be released.
Britney's memoir will also touch on her conservatorship, which began in 2008 after she faced a public mental health crisis.
The songstress had a conservatorship that gave her dad Jamie control of her personal and financial affairs for 13 years, with it coming to an end in November 2021.
Her book will also touch on her marriage to Sam Asghari, as well as many other topics that the blonde beauty wants to set the record straight about.
The source spilled on some of the content of the book, with them revealing: "There’s a fair amount of throwing people under the bus, talking about past relationships, some of whom will be revealed for the first time ever."
