Britney Spears has made sure her assets and reported £60million fortune were protected before marrying Sam Asghari as they signed a prenup, according to TMZ.
The 40-year-old singer tied the know with Sam, 28, at her home in Los Angeles on Thursday, in front of 60 guests but before that there was a little bit of paperwork to complete before they enjoyed the rest of their lives together.
Britney's multi-million dollar fortune will not be going to Sam if they split with all her earnings before they said "I do" being locked into Britney's accounts.
Sam had already joked on Instagram about them having a prenup, in which he joked that it was his belongings that needed protecting, shortly after they announced their engagement in September.
The fitness instructor wrote: "Thank you everyone who is concerned about The prenup!
"Of course we're getting an iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection incase she dumps me one day."
It would seem that the couple have got off to a fine start to married life with a source telling PEOPLE: "They are both very happy.
"The wedding was everything Britney could have wished for and more."
After walking down the aisle in a custom Atelier Versace in front of her celebrity friends Madonna, Pairs Hilton, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore, Britney changed into three more different outfits before taking to social media to share her delight at being a married woman again.
She wrote on Instagram: "Wow !!! Holy holy crap !!! WE DID IT !!! WE GOT MARRIED!!! Gggggeeeeezzzzz !!! It was the most spectacular day !!!"
Britney continued: "I was so nervous all morning but then at 2:00 pm it really hit me … WE'RE GETTING MARRIED !!! I had a panic attack and then got it together.
"the crew who created our home into literally a dream castle were fantastic !!! The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better !!!"
