British tourist rushed to Ibiza hospital after falling from second floor balcony

A British tourist is fighting for his life after a second-floor balcony fall in Ibiza.

The 21-year-old plunged to the ground from his holiday accommodation in the popular party resort of Playa d’en Bossa yesterday morning.

He has been admitted to an intensive care unit at the private Nuestra Senora del Rosario clinic with “multiple injuries” which have not been specified but include head injuries.

Local reports quoting sources at San Jose Town Hall, which includes the Playa d’en Bossa area, said the unnamed youngster had been trying to jump between balconies when he fell.

The place where the accident happened has been identified as the adult-only Jet Apartments.

The alarm was raised around 5.40am yesterday and the injured Brit reached the private clinic where he is now in intensive care around an hour later.
