A British father charged following the death of his three-year-old son in a fall at a Cyprus hotel has asked his lawyer to petition the court to temporarily lift restrictions on his movements so he can join his family in the UK for the boy’s funeral, his new lawyer said on Friday.
Lawyer Alexandros Alexandrou said he’ll file the petition next week and the date of the funeral will be set after the court renders its decision by August 7.
