British girl, 6, pulled from Tenerife hotel pool where 'no lifeguard present' and rushed to hospital

A six-year-old British girl was pulled from a Tenerife hotel pool and given mouth-to-mouth recuscitation reportedly nearly an hour after the last lifeguard had finished his shift.

The incident happened at around 6.50pm last Thursday at Granada Park Aparthotel pool in Los Cristianos, 50 minutes after the last lifeguard had clocked off, police said.
