Households across the UK are being hit with staggering energy bills after Ofgem increased the price cap earlier this year.
As the cost of living rises and the rate of inflation hits seven per cent, the price cap has gone up by 54 per cent, adding an extra £693 to the average household yearly bill.
Meanwhile those on pre-payment plans will see an extra £708 add to their yearly bill.
