Cabin crew 'wince' every time someone orders a Diet Coke on a plane, a flight attendant has revealed.
Writing in a blog, 'Jet' said ordering the fizzy drink causes a lot of problems. That's because of the air pressure makes it harder to pour the beverage, reports Wales Online.
Jet said: "Soft drinks foam up a lot more when poured out of a can, and the worst culprit for this is Diet Coke – I literally have to sit and wait for the bubbles to fall before I can continue pouring."

They continued: "If all three passengers ask for Diet Coke I'll often get them started, take another three drink orders, serve those, and then finish the Diet Cokes."
In a video demonstrating how Diet Coke can be difficult to pour, the cabin crew said: "What you can't see is that the Diet Coke doesn't come out of the can when flipped upside down until you lift it up and tilt it slightly. This is because the air pressure is keeping the Coke in the can. It makes pouring the Diet Coke very controllable and reduces the chances of spilling or overflow."
It comes after another flight attendant Miguel Muñoz revealed how you can take on an extra free bag on planes. Miguel, who has been an air steward for over 10 years, shared his top tip with Express.co.uk.
Nicknaming it the "duty-free hack", he revealed how by using a duty-free carrier bag passengers can bring an extra bag with them on their flight, as "duty-free bags don't count as carry-on baggage". Most people aren't aware of this rule, and for those who find it difficult to ensure their belongings all fit into one case or that your luggage weighs the right amount, it could be a game-changer.
