This year's Britain's Got Talent results make for very interesting and rather shocking reveal, with hotly tipped acts finishing near the bottom of the vote.
Nearly two months after it burst back onto our screens after a prolonged absence due to the coronavirus pandemic, BGT crowned its latest champion on Sunday night and the Britain's Got Talent winner who's doing the celebrating this year is comedian Axel Blake. Simon Cowell's golden buzzer act for 2022, Axel landed in the top three of the public vote alongside eventual runner-up Jamie Leahey and third place act, singer Tom Ball.
Axel scooped victory by exactly five per cent from Jamie, while Tom came within a whisker of finishing second, and he was just ahead of Maxwell Thorpe, with the opera singing busker just missing out on a spot in the final three. But the big shock from the Britain's Got Talent final is the fact that two of the bottom three acts were two big judges' favourites.

Stats released by ITV right after Sunday's final, had young dance group Five Star Boys finishing at the bottom of the final vote, not far behind wild card act Amber and the Dancing Collies and hotly tipped Greatest Showman singer Loren Allred, who sang an original track in the final.
