Britain's Got Talent won't air in its usual time slot next Saturday, with ITV confirming that it will move to Sunday for one week only. And it's not gone unnoticed by viewers that the change means it now won't go head to head with this year's Eurovision final.
Since its launch last month with a double header of launch episodes, Britain's Got Talent has been airing at 8pm on ITV every Saturday, with it doing just that this week, with the opening of the latest episode paying tribute to King Charles III, on the occasion of his Coronation.
The new installment had plenty of entertainment for fans to lap up, as TV icon Mr Blobby returned to target Simon Cowell, with the show drawing to a memorable conclusion, when hosts Ant and Dec hit their Golden Buzzer.

Rather than going straight to the judges' deliberations and live semi finals, there will still be at least one more auditions episode to come, but the next will air on Sunday, May 14, rather than a night earlier, with that switch announced by an ITV voiceover as credits rolled on Saturday night.
Had it gone ahead in its 8pm slot on May 13, Britain's Got Talent would have been in direct competition for ratings with the Eurovision final over on BBC One.
With this year's contest being held in the UK, as Liverpool do the honours, interest in the final is set to be the biggest its been for some time, as a large audience get set to tune in to see Mae Muller fly the flag for the home nation.
