Britain's Got Talent's Ant and Dec issue appeal to fans on new project

Ant and Dec issued an appeal to their many social media followers for help with a new and unexpected project ahead of the latest episode of Britain's Got Talent going to air.

Hot on the heels of their new game show Limitless Win and the new series of Saturday Night Takeaway airing in quick succession on ITV, the Geordie hosts have been back on primetime Saturday night TV for the last three weeks, as BGT has made its long awaited return after close to two years away from our screens, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While Britain's Got Talent judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and David Walliams have all hit their Golden Buzzers in the audition episodes that have been shown so far, at the time of writing, Ant and Dec and Alesha Dixon have yet to send an act straight through to the semi finals. But that could all change as a whole host of acts step onto the stage this weekend in the aim of getting the coveted golden ticket through to the live shows.

Posting their appeal along with the front cover of their book on Twitter, the guys wrote: "To celebrate #PropaHappy our children’s book in aid of the @NSPCC, we’ve been asking you to tell us what makes you feel happy. There are now just TWO WEEKS left to send us your drawings, poems or messages."

A teaser for Saturday's Britain's Got Talent revealed that Ant and Dec will be rather busy during the episode, as they are roped into take part in a magic act.
