Britain's Got Talent in chaos as Ant and Dec 'invade' stage and Simon Cowell heckled

The hit programme Britain's Got Talent descended into chaos during Saturday night's episode of the show, with presenters Ant and Dec crashing the stage after one bizarre performance.

More hopefuls keen to impress the panel of judges with their talents took to the stage on Saturday, April 22, as the series continued with two Golden Buzzers already under its belt.

First up to showcase his talent was accordion player Ryan - but the judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli weren't quite convinced that he had what it takes to be a part of the Royal Variety Show.

Chronicle Live reports that the musician appeared onstage with his accordion prompting head judge Simon to ask the somewhat obvious question: "Are you going to play something today?"

Ryan then explained that he was originally from the USA, but was currently living in Austrian capital Vienna. That prompted Simon to quiz: "So how did you get from there, to there to here?" But, before Ryan had a chance to answer, a man shouted from the crowd: "On a plane!"

The audience then erupted into fits of laughter and so did fellow judge Amanda Holden. Simon responded: "I know by plane, is this what you do full time?"

Following Ryan's explanation that he was a teaching assistant, he launched into a strange accordion arrangement of the Flo-Rida hit Get Low, with him singing as well as playing his instrument.

The judges were not impressed and it wasn't long before they had all hit their buzzers, bringing Ryan's audition to an end and sparking boos from the audience.

Telling Ryan the bad news, Amanda said: "I'm not sure this is something I'd feel confident presenting to the Royal Family."

However, just as the judges thought they'd heard the last of the accordion, hosts Ant and Dec, who looked unimpressed at the panel's harsh response to Ryan, started playing their own and wandered onto stage, prompting Alesha Dixon to tell them to 'behave,' as the hosts took a stance in support of the musician.

Britain's Got Talent airs on Saturday nights on ITV at 8pm.
