Britain's Got Talent fans notice Simon Cowell height hack as judges reunite for 2022

Beady-eyed fans of Britain's Got Talent noticed a funny trick carried out by Simon Cowell as the judging panel reunited ahead of the 2022 shows.

In an image shared on Twitter, the celebrity judges looked amazing as they posed next to one another, confirming the talent show will definitely be returning to our screens this year after a hiatus in 2021.

Appearing at The London Palladium, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon stunned in yellow outfits while Simon and David Walliams posed while wearing black.

The post was captioned: " The gang is back together. ⁦@BGT @AmandaHolden @SimonCowell @AleshaOfficial."

But it wasn't the glamourous outfits that fans noticed as they laughed at Simon's positioning in the photo, with the 5 ft 8 TV personality standing alongside 6 ft 1 David.

One Twitter user said: "Simon is stood on the step to appear taller."

Davie said: "Simon Cowell feeling the need to stand one step up. #classic."

Judes said: "I love short king Simon stood on the stairs to look taller."

Chris said: "Why is Simon standing on the step trying to look taller!!!"

Auditions are currently underway for the brand new series following a break last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Simon Cowell is making his return after being replaced by Ashley Banjo on the previous series due to a back injury after falling off an electric bike.

He will be joining David Walliams, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon to judge showbiz hopefuls once again.

Britain's Got Talent will return in 2022 on ITV.
