Britain's Got Talent fans call for 'loose cannon' Bruno Tonioli to be replaced over 'potty mouth' as he swears again

Britain's Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli made an apology live on tonight's live semi-final after he swore for a second time. The show newcomer, who replaced David Walliams this series, said a heartfelt sorry after he slipped up again in the live semi-finals.

In Tuesday's semi-final he was heard saying: "F**king hell Simon, not again" as they were called up on stage to take part in sword swallower Andrew Stanton's act, leading hosts Ant and Dec to start Wednesday's show by adressing viewers watching at home.

Fans saw the pair turn serious on the ITV talent show to say sorry for Bruno dropping the 'F-bomb.' "We have to just say sorry if you heard a bit of choice language on this show last night. There will be none of that this evening," they reassured.

But later on in the latest semi-final, they apologised again for more bad language. Fans tweeted that they had missed the moment, but it was believed it happened as he was dragged on stage by magician Miki Dark to take part in a scary guillotine act.

The former Strictly Come Dancing judge told Ant and Dec: "Guys, first let me apologise personally. I was so into what happened yesterday, and what do I do? I did it again and I am so sorry I promise you I will never do it again."

@roscoeleebarnes asked: "Why is Bruno constantly swearing? Years and years of live shows on #Strictly and nothing at all. Now swearing 2 shows on the bounce #BGT (although I did miss this one - anyone got the vid?)" and @kayjai88 exclaimed: "More swearing by Bruno!"

Fans took to Twitter calling for him to be replaced, worried that he's a 'loose cannon.' @vickywhiting3 demanded: "Get rid of Bruno! #BGT" and @robpw2 said: "Bruno is never going to be allowed on live shows ever again ... potty mouth."

@kev_g63 commented: "This judging thing isn’t really working out for Bruno, he’s too much of a loose cannon, don’t think he’ll be back next year." @JohnLoony said: "If they let Bruno come back for a second series of #BritainsGotTalent #BGT I will be so surprised that my head might fall off and glue itself to the ceiling." And @Iiwits99 asked: "Is there anyway we can start a petition to replace Bruno he’s actually ruined this show this year."

But other fans defended the choreographer and dancer including @DavidOConnor who said: "Didn't even notice Bruno swearing, really don't see how it's an issue anyway. " Over Tuesday's swearing incident, @andreasuffield said: "Bruno swearing I would have aswell love him." @DavidMackayy laughed: "Bruno Tonioli swearing on #bgt has been the best act of the night." And @JamesLarvin2 tweeted: "Bruno swearing on #BGT2023 during the sword act hahaha."
