After temperatures yesterday were the hottest of the year so far, the heatwave is set to continue with temperatures in Bristol to reach 18C today. The warm weather is forecast to last all week as spring officially arrives.
Although the north will see some fog in the mornings, the weather here in Bristol will stay clear and warm in the daytime. Expect haze in the early mornings, coupled with lower temperatures, before the sun rises and warms up the city.
The longer-range forecast shows that cold nights and sunny weather are likely to continue, although the start of April could see some showers and colder weather for a period.

Today in Bristol, expect the temperature to peak at 18C at 2pm today, coupled with a gentle 8mph breeze from the southeast. It will be sunny all day today, but there is some cloud forecast between 2pm and 5pm.
Between Thursday and Sunday, the weather is forecast to be much the same, with the Met Office displaying a 'medium' UV warning and also a 'medium' pollen warning. Expect cold nights, and the constant breeze will remain with us through the week. The maximum temperature each day will be 17C, although it will no doubt feel warmer in the sun.
Carol Kirkwood delivered the morning BBC weather forecast and described what we will see for today and over the next few days: "This morning it's a chilly start, but then it's going to warm up quite nicely.
"Once again we're expecting similar values to yesterday with gentle breezes, high pressure. "Look at the extent of this high pressure - it's across much of Europe but that remains in charge of our weather as we head on through the next few days and also into the weekend with gentle breezes.
Ms Kirkwood said that there could be fog in some places: "Anywhere from Newcastle, across North East of England towards the East Midlands. That should lift through the morning, and then most of us have a dry and also a sunny day.
"We could catch the odd shower East of Scotland and into Eastern England, then later into the Western Isles. But they will be the exception, rather than the rule with temperatures ten to about twenty degrees North to South.
