Bristol Rovers’ moves in the transfer window so far have been modest but methodical as unlike previous summers, Joey Barton has retained a strong core to his squad that means he and his recruitment team can focus on quality and firmly put the concept of quantity on the backburner.
Rovers will no doubt be busy but would rather avoid the manic movement in and out of the club as has been the case over the last two years.
