Bristol Rovers may be yet to make a splash in the summer transfer window but have confirmed a significant new arrival for 2022/23 with news that The Phat Pasty Company will be their official supplier for the next three years.
The Hampshire-based company will serve their Cornish-made pasties at all games at the Mem as Rovers return to League One, replacing Ginsters and Piglet’s Pantry, with the switch decided after an extensive taste test was conducted among fans.
The Phat Pasty Company, crowned as The Cornish Pasty Company 2020 at the World Pasty Championships, have recently secured similar contracts at Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Plymouth Argyle. Co-founder Paul Clark, dubbed the Phat Controller, has Rovers heritage with his father a loyal Gashead.
