Bristol film industry professionals and investors are backing the expansion of Patchway Studios.
Creatives behind locations for TV series such as Bridgerton, Poldark and Sanditon are backing a planned expansion of the Bristol-based studios.
Patchway Studios opened last year in Patchway, South Gloucestershire, to meet demand for studio space in the South West. The studio offers 100,000 square feet of production space and is located close to the M4/M5. The UK’s production company Bad Wolf (His Dark Materials, Industry, A Discovery of Witches) has already produced the forthcoming adaptation of Bernard Cornwell’s ‘The Winter King’ for ITVX at Patchway Studios.
