People living in the city centre suffer from more anti-social behaviour than anywhere else in Bristol and the surrounding area - and you can see how your neighbourhood compares with our interactive map. Hyper-local police figures show that 1,252 incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB) were recorded in the Bristol City Centre neighbourhood last year.
That could include vandalism, verbal abuse, shouting, swearing, fighting, intimidation and harassment. When compared to the size of the population, that amounted to the equivalent of 63 incidents of ASB for every 1,000 residents, the highest rate in Bristol and far higher than the national average of 17 per 1,000 people.
The next highest was the Weston Town neighbourhood in North Somerset with 53 crimes of ASB per 1,000 residents, and then Hartcliffe in Bristol (51 per 1,000 residents). At the other end of the spectrum, Bristol's Henleaze neighbourhood was the safest for ASB, with two incidents for every 1,000 residents.
