Bristol Craft Beer Festival will feature pale ale that honours LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and women in the industry

A celebration of brewing culture in Bristol and beyond, the Bristol Craft Beer Festival 2022 returns on 10-11 June 2022, and will feature a huge variety of the world’s finest beers. One such beer, Brave Noise, a pale ale, is a global collaborative effort from 262 breweries across the globe to provide inclusive and safe environments for women, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour), and LGBTQIA+ throughout the beer industry.

Bristol’s Lost and Grounded is one of the 262 breweries involved and will be providing the brew for the festival in June, Lost and Grounded founder Annie Clements has been pivotal in the brewery producing Brave Noise Brew.

The Brave Noise collaboration was inspired by those who have shared stories about gender discrimination, racism, sexual assault, and sexual harassment within the brewing industry; with over 70 per cent of women in the UK say they have experienced some kind of sexual harassment in public.
